Our Mainstay

De Eden Farm, is a family establishment that deals in dairy farming and a member of EDFA as a corporate partner of SNV – Netherlands.
With maize and wheat farming being the mainstay within the locality, dairy production is our main business, with the purpose of offering fresh and genuine products improving the farming methods of other farmers.
De Eden Dairy Farm is located in Uasin Gishu county, North Rift region, Soy Division, Kiplombe Location, Emkwen Village. It is 24 km North of Eldoret town and 365 km North West of Nairobi city. The location is at an altitude of about 2000 meters and has regular rainfall patterns.
The dairy farm is set on a 12 acre parcel of land.
Fodder and other food and cash crops are planted on 500 Acres in different locations within the neighbourhood.

Our Location

Our Production

The farm has a dairy herd comprising Holstein Friesian and Ayrshire cows with an avarage milk production of 25 – 35kg per lactating cow, depending on the time of the year.
Farm is pure zero grazing unit with modern milking palour installed and serviced by De Laval
Milk is delivered 700kg per day to New KCC and the rest sold at the farm shop and processed into Mursik and Yoghurt.
De Eden farm has an established farmshop at Eldoret city as an outlet for for its pasteurized and flavoured milk products.
Breeding is done through use of high quality sexed Holstein semen. The farm is an appointed dealer of international Holstein semen in Kenya, and helps farmers within the locality to improve their herd.
All Our calves were born in the farm.
The farm also sells heifers and calves to other farmers who wish to improve their stock.
